INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL BEHAVIOR:
> INTERNALLY: highly manipulative and temperamental. truthfully, his inward personality is that of a young teen; demanding, entitled, and jealous. extremely possessive of others and their attention, so much so that he will attempt to control the way others live so that it benefits him. lacking basic empathy and the ability to truly connect with others on a deeper level. lacks proper communication skills and human interaction, making it even harder for him to understand others, but he doesn’t care about mutually beneficial connections, he only cares about his own needs and will do whatever he thinks is right to meet those needs. believes he’s above people and that others aren’t like him because they’ve never suffered his losses, this coinciding with his god complex. hypocritically, alongside all this, adam himself truly believes that he is right, just, and simply wronged by the world, that he has every right to be cruel and that nothing he does is ever actually morally incorrect. his vengeance is the only right vengeance and he has free reign. morally skewed and unable to be swayed.
> EXTERNALLY: comes off as fearsome and rather pathetically awkward due to physical abnormalities and lack of proper human interaction, but attempts to be outwardly compassionate and kind. has a habit of being somewhat distant and standoffish when it comes to strangers due to general anxiety although he’s unable to deny positive attention in any capacity. simple to say he’s weak to any display of affection. will purposefully create an outward persona that is awfully pitiful and needy to gain trust and pity from others. generally presents himself as a weak and lonely man who just wants company. when severely angered or wronged, he will shed his facade almost entirely, though he is completely unaware of any facade. to him, he's normal. extremely sorrowful and troubled by his past and losses. suffers from major depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder. regularly becomes manic and is prone to break down fairly easily.

ABNORMAL ABILITIES:
> HEIGHTENED PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE: his body is capable of withstanding pain and pressure that of two times the amount the regular human body can handle (being thrown through a brick wall, taking a bullet, etc. (though not without withstaining substantial injuries that will take time to heal)), as well as harnessing double the strength of the average human (able to lift and throw a small car, etc.). in addition to physical endurance, his organ health is also heightened, making him immune to common illnesses and terminal illnesses, meaning he cannot catch a cold or develop cancer.
> TRANSFORMATION THROUGH POSSESSION: because adam is possessed by an entity closely resembling a demon, he is morphing with it over time, essentially sharing his body and mind with it until one or the other takes over completely. this entity, ruled by aggression and feeding off of adam’s rage, will occasionally overtake his senses and use his body, but adam can trigger this willingly by forcing himself into situations that will fuel the emotions needed to change. when in this state, adam is in a dreamlike state, almost like sleepwalking. he cannot speak, cannot see, and cannot hear, but he experiences sensations and retains injuries. he becomes volatile and irrationally violent, ruthlessly charging about and targeting anything nearby with an immense amount of strength and reckless abandon (REFERENCE OF BEHAVIOR). when transformed, his plates cover the entire body save his hair, and his sclera for both eyes goes black. adam’s exoskeleton is a result of excessive transformations and prolonged exposure to the entity. each time he is possessed or triggers the possession, his body continues to morph and produces more plates in place of his human skin. with each transformation, he loses natural senses, and deals with things like the inability to taste or loss of sensation in certain limbs.
> BONE MANIPULATION: adam’s bone structure continuously changes due to his evergoing transformation, and with this he is able to shape his body in different ways using his own bones. for example, if he wanted to create a weapon, say a sharp piece akin to a blade, his body would break his bones in different areas and then regroup it to the preferred area, strengthening the foundation and creating an appendage, so it would break the bones in his arm, shift them to his hand, fuse, and create an elongated “blade” until it’s rebroken and moved back to its proper place. it’s not without vulnerabilities or pain, as he feels each break and has to then take time to recuperate after it’s said and done.
> DUOTONE VOICE: adam speaks with his own voice, but occasionally is accompanied by another voice shadowing him. this voice, which can either sound menacing and low or loud and angry, shadows him only in certain circumstances, usually when he’s experiencing deep stress or powerful emotions.
